About us

I have been involved in photography for as long as I can remember, including the murky environs of the school darkroom club. After graduating from Dundee University with an MA (Hons), I worked in several business environments and photography gradually took on practical applications within those activities.

After a short period of part-time professional photography, I took the plunge in 1999, set up a studio in North Kessock and full time photography was a reality.

The business grew rapidly and my experience broadened as new opportunities arose and I now have the privilege of working with many leading local businesses and organisations as well as enjoying photographing weddings throughout the year.

Photography remains my passion and I maintain a fresh attitude to the business of taking photographs professionally .

My wife, Anne ,is actively involved in both the administration of the business and accompanies me to the majority of weddings - assisting not in only in the process of photography, but often proving invaluable in helping the wedding party with the finishing touches and keeping everyone calm!

My daughter, Carolyn conducts a videography service and often works with me at weddings. (See Videography “button” for contact details.)
